The National Education & Business Conference (NEBC) is held every year. One of the largest educational meetings in the independent broker-dealer industry, the conference is a forum for intense learning, professional development and colleague networking. More than 1,200 financial professionals and representatives attend the conference from the mutual fund, insurance and direct investment arena.
The NEBC features over 50 educational sessions, as well as a variety of keynote speeches. Nationally-known and industry speakers such as Dr. Alan Greenspan, Karen Hughes, Colin L. Host Jeff Rattiner, CPA, CFP leads six 2-hour (Level 300) online classes each year, exploring a broad array of complex financial planning challenges you may encounter when working with clients. Topics include retirement, employee benefits, estate, investments, income tax, insurance, small business ownership, highly compensated executives, divorce planning and more. Classes often qualify for CFP continuing education credits.
These live, web-based presentations are conducted quarterly by our home office staff. Sessions cover different aspects of conducting business with FSC, with topics including operations, compliance, investment advisory, registration and licensing, as well as information on other FSC departments that will assist you in running your business.
This accelerated program prepares you to take the exam for Certified Financial Planner™ designation in just seven months. Completing FPFT alone doesn’t grant you the CFP designation; it addresses the six financial planning subject areas that satisfy the education component of the CFP process. FPFT is offered in partnership with the Metropolitan State College of Denver.
